In 1975 he was appointed Associate Professor; in 1996 he was appointed Professor of Biocatalysis at Utrecht University. Since 2003 he holds the Chair of Biomolecular Chemistry at this University. He has obtained Senior Qualifications in Research and Teaching from Utrecht University. Current ResearchHis current research interests include structural and functional aspects of hydroperoxide lyase and related enzymes of the oxylipin cascade in plants, and endocannabinoids. He teaches Bio-organic Chemistry and Biocatalysis courses for undergraduate students of Chemistry, Biology, and Biomedical Sciences. Publications |
